Radar: does stealth spell the end?

With more and more nations building or proposing to build stealth aircraft, be this with low observable materials or plasma coatings, is there a future for radar? The US will probably be the first “invisible” air power, fielding aircraft like the B-2 and F/A-22 and their successors. But other nations such as Iran, China, Russia and France all have either got stealth aircraft on the drawing board or in development. Also many smaller nations are being offered stealthy aircraft like the Rafale (I said stealthy, before anyone jumps down my throat screaming that the Rafale isn’t stealth 🙂 ) and F/A-35 for export. So in a world where stealth seems to be key to many nations defenses, has radar had its day?
Ok some might argue that not every nation can afford stealth aircraft, or not every nation can afford an all stealth air force, after all they aren’t ten a penny. But shouldn’t we be looking at an alternative to radar? Are there any viable alternatives to radar in service?
