In your country/town/village etc. whats your favourite radio station/s?
I listen to Kiss 100, which plays club/dance/euphoric music 24/7. And sometimes I listen to Capital FM, which plays a mixture of pop/R n’B/rock/dance/euphoric etc.
Cheers. 🙂

RE: Radio Stations?
I don’t listen to the radio much anymore, CD’s are better in the car, but anytime I do then I have Leicester Sound (105.4) on. Its another “better music mix” station from the same company as many across the country, I think Capital FM is also one.
Ands theres 5 Live on Saturday afternoon, specially if Liverpool are on!

RE: Radio Stations?
Showing my age now but I listen a lot to Classic FM and Radio 2. I know it’s a case of ‘each to their own’ but I find much of this modern dance/trance stuff to be offensive both to the ears and the brain. To me it really is just mindless noise and to be honest I’d get just as much enjoyment, if not more, out of listening to static.

RE: Radio Stations?
Wysiwyg-I agree some of the presenters are rather cheesy and Unprofessional.I know some people can’t stand it because the thinks they talk about are childish and uninteresting, but Island FM plays a good mix of music from the 60s to now.I like it because although they do play the oldies they still seem to play a lot of my favourite modern songs regularly.

RE: Radio Stations?
I hardly ever listen to the radio… my MP3 collection ensures I never listen to anything I don’t like 🙂 . I do listen to Radio 1 between 7 and 9 on a Sunday night though!!

RE: Radio Stations?
Saab – I could never stand that Kevin whatshisname bloke so that always turned me right off Island FM.
I always used to listen to Capital FM until they decided to concentrate solely on teenager music so lately I have become addicted to Steve Wright in the afternoon on Radio 2.

RE: Radio Stations?
In the mornings Capital FM bends my ears , then when everyones buggered off I tune into a proper music station, Virgin Radio, or maybe X-Fm, if there’s not a guitar or two in the song it aint worth listening to…… I’m sure Kabir will understand that.
Sober at last

RE: Radio Stations?
When I’m in the UK at home I have the choice of dire…sorry…Spire FM from Salisbury or I tune in to Classic Gold which plays a lot of stuff from the fifties, sixties and seventies. Out here In Cyprus, we have the wonderful choice of British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS for short), 9.14 Coast FM from Limassol or wall to wall local channels (including stuff from Egypt, syria etc etc…) which I cant understand yest.
I tend to tune into Classic gold on the Internet while I’m downloading the latest hits from the Smurfs…only joking…or whatever I’ve thought of through the morning at work that I’d like to listen to again in the afternoon.
Cheers
Gary
