I was a member of the RAF 617 Squadrons Goodwill Mission to the USA/Canada July/Sept 1947 (16 Lincoln Bombers) and have published the history of that tour. I am trying to contact any surviving members (found 17 to date) or their relatives, in order that they may like to receive a copy. The history is not on general sale, but is published as requests are made. No profit is made whatsoever, any recipient just pays for the cost of printing.
All the ifo in the document is taken from records and not from memory. Several surviving members have added their own contribution to the history.

617 goodwill mission
Dear Bob
I hope you are well.
I’ve just seen some of your postings on the web about the Goodwill Tour to the US and Canada in 1947. My dad (William (jock )Grant was a navigator on one of the Lincolns and was telling my kids about it at the weekend. He had a photocopy from the toronto globe showing his plane at trenton. I think this was the tour where he got to meet Louis Armstrong when they went to Hollywood.
all the best
