I am currently trying to find information on 625 squadron, in which my grandfather served. He was shot down in Lancaster Lm546 on 28/7/44 over Sttugart and became POW for the rest of the war.Sady as he became older le destroyed a lot of his records etc beliving no one would be interested.I very proud of him and i am trying to trace anything to do with 625 either history, photos etc Likewise the same regarding himself and the aircraft.
Here in hope 🙂
