Hi Guys,
Were any of you at ( or involved in ) the flypast on 14 June 1968 ?
I’m looking for any information on the pilots / planes involved in this flight. I believe all the Pilots were QFI’s from Linton, Syerston, Leeming & Acklington. Are any of the pilots out there ? or any aircrew that were involved in the preparation ?

What I would like to know is, were these the same pilots/aircraft that flew a “50” formation over Farnbrough during the SBAC show in September that year?
There are no entries in my Dad’s log book for this flight & no “training” entries either. However his first flight in Sept ’68 was on the 16th …. maybe my mum forced him to take a few days holiday with us 🙂

Well done Steve. I was there on 14th (Queen’s Day) and on 15th(Public Day) at Abingdon June 1968. The station-keeping was better on the public day.
