RAF B.17's of 214 Sqdn; HB.789/HB.790

Would anyone care to tell me more about these TWO actual RAF B.17’s ?

Serial No.’s HB.789 & HB.790

214’s website has them listed as the same code-letters….

I’d LIKE to know their previous USAAF serials, (i.e. 42-?????) if possible ?

Maybe even their dates of transfer ?

Any info’ on these SPECIFIC 2 x a/c (only) please…..

Both SOC Mar 11, 1947.

They may have had the same Code letter, at different times.
