Been looking through the web, at various bits of history and Google Earth etc on Biggin Hill – not an airfield I am too familiar with, largely due to the distance from home.
One thing I can’t seem to find anywhere on the web, is something like an aerial shot or a plan of the airfield as it was during WW2.
Does anyone have anything like this in their collection they could post here, or even e-mail?

Thanks for that John, it shows at least part of the site!
Incidentally, does anyone know of a website with 1940s aerial pics of RAF bases? Does such a site exist?

I am the webmaster (i hate that term) for www.bigginhill-history.co.uk and I would also be interested. As far as I was aware anything about the RAF camp is owned by the IWM. My site concentrates on the town itself.
