RAF Brize Norton 16th and 20th March, 26 – 08

A few from Brize at each end of the week. To start with, Monday 16th from 26 end.

Then our Israeli friends departed off across the pond. Two aircraft of the same era still in service. How many places nowadays are there that you can you see an operational 707 and VC10 at the same time? Gotta love Brize!

I assume the casualty wasn’t from the UK as this arrived straight after to collect the casualty. I hope he/she has a speedy recovery.

And then nothing, until late afternoon.

Very nice, Nick! I often see the RAF from Oxford, or from Port Meadow, but the only time I’ve been close to Brize was playing cricket at Carterton. It’s good to see stuff from a bit closer! How long a lens do you need to get a shot from that road, I wonder? :diablo:

Seriously – good to see!
