I am trying to help a Luftwaffe night fighter pilot identify aircraft he shot down on the night of 15/16 March 1945. Does anyone know of any sources which may summarise losses (RAF presumably) on those dates please?

There are a few Mosquito’s listed in BCL 1945 a few days later than the dates you’ve stated.

Thanks, I am well aware of, and have, the Bomber Command Losses books. However, we are talking about a possible Mosquito, and a possible Mitchell on these dates.

RAF Bomber Command Losses by W R Chorley for 1945 lists 17 aircraft lost on that date. Do you have any further details that would assist in working out which aircraft it might have been and I can check my copy of the book for you.
