Just to let all you fine gentlemen (and ladies) know the new and “improved” (yeah right) RAF B-24 website is now up and running and I’m back after a break of 3 years of not many updates. The new site is running on a content management system so expect lots of regular updates. I’m also looking for pixie helpers and authors so if this is your field of interest pop along and plant you stake in the virtual territories 😀
http://www.acseac.co.uk and http://www.rafb24.com
Look forward to seeing you there.
Gary

You got me there, I’ve not seen those ones before, no visible markings, no armaments and no aerial arrays.
My best guess is they are metrological flight those extra bits under the wings look like sensors.

Good evening RAF liberators, A small challenge for you and your friends ! In a recent thread on this forum, which I started, I was lucky enough to post the contents of the photo albums of a career RAF officer, within this collection were two photos of unusualy painted B-24s, possibly at Ballykerry ? As no definate answers were arrived at by the very clever people here, yet, I wonder if your massed ranks would like to peruse the photos and maybe offer some more knowledge on the subject ???
A link to the thread below, go to page 5 and scroll down to mid page.

Thank You in advance.

Steve, I’d be very interested in knowing more about your interviews, stop by the site and we’ll talk some more. Iv’e got at least 60 interviews to add to the site but it takes time to get things done.
I’d be really interested in seeing that photo RLangham and any others you have from that period, again stop by the site and we’ll sort it all out 😀
If either of you get any problems with registering or anything just use the found a fault form and I’ll sort it out 😉

Hi Gary, there’s a photograph in my Grandad’s photo album of his service in North Africa with a Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, and one of them shows an RAF Liberator landing – would this be of use for your website?

Gary,
Well done, the site looks very good. I have an special interest in RAF Liberator options since recently contacting and interviewing three veterans (a pilot and two navigators).
Regards
Steve
