The second image I looked at – the first of the 8sqn RFC is captioned as the Sergeant Observer when in actual fact he has the 2 ‘pips’ of Lieutenant on each Epaulette (shoulder) – the blue inverted chevrons at the bottom of his sleeve will be War Service Chevrons (3 = 3 years ?)
Other than that – lovely pictures – love the little Barclay ‘Pug’ steam engine 🙂
