raf cottemore and the harrier?

Hi,

i have always wonderd why that cottesmore has been stuck witht he harriers after the runway had been re-done for the tornado’s and special tar put down for afterburners which cost thousands!

the harries dont use any of tis runway and its pointless

do yo know of any plans in which the base is going to get louder and more intersting aircraft like the typhoon,tornado or even the F35 LIGHTNING II?

after the tornado training squadron was no longer needed and left cottesmore for the harriers it has beem alittle boring! why dont the harriers use wittering and the MOD use cottesmore as it is made for?
