We will be taking our Chipmunk Cockpit WZ869 out on her first outing of the year to the RAF Cranwell 75 years of jet flight – 100 years of Aviation event next weekend 14th and 15th May 2016, where we wil be supporting our chosen charity for 2016 Parkinson’s UK.

I’ll be joining you guys at Cranwell with my Dominie cockpit . . Funny story, but will tell you more later 🙂 Unfortunately, will only be able to make the Sunday . . but it’ll be a blast!! 🙂

Weather permiting it should be a great weekend all round, sorry we wont get the chance to go over to Metheringham though.

We are at different venues at the same celebration Ritch, so we may not even see each other. However, I’m sure that you with WZ869 at Cranwell and us with XS186 at Metheringham, we will both help to make the weekend a successful one!
XS186 at her noisy best, if she behaves, there are two taxy runs planned each day, as well as:
Ian Whittle giving a FREE lecture at 10.30am on the Saturday
Nigel Mcknight (UK challenger for world water speed record) giving a FREE lecture at 10.30am on the Sunday
A Gazelle helicopter visiting on both days
A jet powered car displaying on the Sunday
Static jet engines on display both days
Many other smaller displays and activities, and a chance to win a taxy ride in XS186!
At least five, possibly more cockpits on display all weekend
