‘orrible weather up here this morning so popped along to the museum for a look around. Worth a visit if you’re in the area on a Sunday morning and have an hour spare.

Looks like the Enemy Aircraft Flight, which was based at Collyweston (sp?) and Duxford at various times.
JG McGee of indeterminate nationality, but of international fame and veneration. There’s a lesson there.

..and just down the road at Scopwick is a small military cemetry… includes a German crew and the grave of JG Magee, most famous for writing the poem High Flight..
