Simple question…hopefully
Why is the RAF going to receive so few (14) A330 Tanker/transports?
With the current force of VC10’s and tristars stretched to their limits, it seems very strange that only 14 new aircraft will be purchased, whilst the current fleet numbers around 25. I know that serviceability rates should be very good to start with, but this cannot surely justify the lack of aircraft. One aircraft can only be in one place at one time.
