RAF Hurricanes in Russia

I am currently researching the Hurricanes of 151 Wing, especially those of 134 Squadron.

Tim, sorry, “Cotteswold”, I would be grateful if you could contact me off board. I have spoken at some length with Nat here in Australia, and he has been of great help. I am hopeful you may be able to help fill in some blanks regards identifying some of the Hurricanes flown by 134, and would be most grateful for your assistance.

Cheers

Just had this in the mail this morning –

“As I had hoped and forecast, the latest issue of ‘Flypast’ (cover date June 2011 but on sale today) has a 32-page special on Operation Barbarossa – the German invasion of Russia in 1941. 12 of the 32 pages are the story and the images of the Wing in action!”

PS – Shame they don’t mention the showing of the new film about the Wing at the IWM on 9 May – the date of the annual commemmoration at the Russian War Memorial.

Only just home after a spell in hospital. If there’s anything further you need, let me know?
