Hutton
No, the strip is the north south field directly of Kellbarrow farm. If you look east along the woodline you can pick out the firing butts

Using Google Earth, there seems to be landing strip to tthe east of Kelbarrow Farm at 54 41 43N 2 48 10W. Is this it? I can’t find the firing butts on the picture.

RAF HUTTON IN THE FOREST FLY IN 2010
This is about all thats left of the site http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~rwbarnes/defence/hutton.htm
The landing area we used was the original strip. I think grass as there is no sign of the runway just east of Kellbarrrow Farm which is south of the old Manor House

Hutton-in-the-Forest is near Penrith, but where is the airfield?
