As usual I won’t be able to go on the Saturday of the show becuse of work commitments. Can anybody tell me if it’s worth taking a run over on Sunday to catch departures ? I won’t make arrivals day either unfortunately.

Not going to Leuchars this year. In the huff. Fed up with seeing all the usual suspects, and as the Eurofighter isnt on the line up, there’s nothing to attract. Am I alone in my bored apathy here?
If only we had a decent warbird contingent, like down south. Since the retirement of Phantoms, Lightnings, Buccs. Vulcan, Shack, there isnt much left to excite. You can only do so much with a pointy paper dart.
No, you’re not alone. That’s one of the reasons I skipped Waddington this year.

Leuchars has one of the best line ups in it’s flying display ever this year – E-2C Hawkeye, J.35OE Draken, FA-18C, F-4F, Saab 105OE, not to mention a Ukranian AF Il-76, B-52H and a brand new Monsterjet scheme painted on a JbG32 Tornado, all on static display.
As for a Typhoon – well, you just never know your luck………….;) 😀

My pleasure. The name’s Dan by the way. 🙂
Thanks Dan, I’ve gotten into the habit of always referring to people by their user name, even when I know their real name. Must try and break the habit.
Cheers
