I’m working on a book project about a serving RAF officer from WW2. He kept a diary throughout the war and this is forming the basis for the narrative. He served at RAF Merston for quite a while and while there are pictures in his diary about all sorts of things, and places, however, Merston (a Tangmere satellite) is missing. Does anyone have or know where I might be able to find any images of Merston. Our guy was at Merston in 1941.

Thanks for that, although I’d found it once before on one of my many goggle trawls. I should have been more specific and said I am particularly looking for WW2 photographs. A long shot i know but you never know!
