Hi all
Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre is holding it’s Open Weekend (extended from just a day) on the 9th and 10th June this year.
Some of you will know Metheringham, a beautiful venue, with a great museum, housing what was once the worlds largest flying Lancaster model (now grounded but still very impressive), along with Jet Provost XS186 on site, which is a regular ground running aircraft. This and much more besides.
The organisers are looking to expand the aircraft cockpit / aviation themed attractions this year, so if you are interested in attending along with your passion, please drop me a PM or call on 07800 945 538 and i’ll put you in touch with the appropriate people.
It falls the week before Newarks well known event, so maybe a double weekend trip for some of you cockpiteers / exhibitors?
