RAF Millom Veterans Reunion

Hello All

On September 2nd & 3rd we are holding a Veterans Reunion at the Museum. We are looking for anyone who can spare the time to put a static Living History display on for the Veterans to look at along with the visitors, as the Veterans are now dwindling in numbers we are looking to start to replace the reunion with some kind of Living History Weekend.

We have to date arranged,

Some local Military Vehicles arranged to attend

Some local living history/ re-enactors arranged to attend

Ground running RR Merlin, Griffon & Leonides engines

Flight Simulator

Aircraft Cockpits

DJ Hepcat Mike for entertainment (free) during the day & evening

The displays/camping (free) will be held in the museum grounds not up on the airfield.

If anyone can help out putting a display on for the old boys & girls please get in touch, lunch will be provided for anyone who attends in uniform or a vehicle, or a cockpit.

The museum will aslo be open as normal for visitors,
