RAF Museum Disposals

Anybody heard anything about a new list of about 15 airframes that the RAF Museum is seeking to dispose of? Seems to be a bit of a buzz about it on Facebook at the moment

Aircraft mentioned include Neptune, Catalina, Vimy, prone pilot Meteor etc etc

I was literally coming to ask the same question. Some of the aircraft listed seem sad but sensible (Neptune) but others really seem an odd choice.

I have a soft spot for the Vimy and think it deserves its place in the collection (even if she is a replica and quite large)

I guess some of these would be Manchester doubles.
