RAF museum queries

Hi Guys just a few queries relating to the RAF museum, can anyone help?

1) There was once a p51d mustang in the Bomber Command hall, correct me if im wrong but it is not the same one now living in the milestones hall. Can anyone recall its whereabouts now and a brief history of it? aka does it have a second world war history?

2) As we all know the galleries are never open or never seem to be when i go to the museum, im not knocking the museum as i have an affection for hendon and her one in a milllion collection of rare aircraft however does anyone have any pics of the galleries content which they can share? i remember some really cool dioramas and art work!

3) Last question! Is the museums LVG CVI which was once with the shuttleworth now being restored for inclusion in the raf museum? I was thinking how cool it would be to see it with the Albatross DVa that used to be on display with the fleet air arm museum that is now in storage! Its a shame to not see that on display any longer!

Thanks as always fellow forumites and friends for your assistance!

The P51D that was in the Bomber Command Hall was last heard of at Cosford, its a composite airframe built up in America and swapped for a Spitfire and has no combat (or any other form of) history

On the Hendon website, at the bottom of each aircraft page is a link to a downloadable PDF covering each planes history.

Not been to the RAF Museum for ages and don’t feel too inclined to go if the areas I really want to see are likely to be closed when I get there but I thought the LVG was taken back from Shuttleworth because it was going straight into the Milestones of Flight gallery.
