Not such a big event as Marham or Leuchers but nevertheless the Chinook has now been in service with the RAF for 25 years.
Unfortunately the GR4 display was cancelled whch I believe was due to bad weather elsewhere. Also there was meant to have been a Herculese but this did not appear either.
The pics of the flying display are all the aircraft that flew plus a few static. There was a Puma as well in the static which came all the way from RAF Aldergrove. I guess there cannot be many Pumas at Benson at the moment. Most of the Chinooks are away at and I only saw two of them.
Quite a nice day weather wise. Warm. A bit dull a few times but some brighter sunnier spells.
The image of the memorial is to those who have given their lives in the Helicopter support forces.
Many thanks to those who made it an enjoyable day.

SEMAE,
Nice photos mate… many of the planes flew over us on their way home!
Wonder if you work at Odiham?
regards
Cliff
