Hi,
I am wondering about dipping into my pay packet and purchasing this Fujimi kit of an RAF Phantom with Sharks Teeth.
I can’t find any info as to which airframe it is and the history of it. Can anyone else provide any further information ?

Those Fujimi Phantom kits are the best of the type in that scale (and most in other scales), even more surprising given their age – you can’t go wrong purchasing it!

The Airtime Publishing book Phantom Spirit in the Skies has a full page colour spread of the airframe you are asking about in the colours you mention.
XV495. A simple search on the web hould provide more info in its history.

re;
its a fantastic museum what a shame somebody with a huge wad of cash couldnt hire them a c type hangar on the a/f. The staff even gave me a preview of the new hangar before it was ready for the public. Cant speak highly enough of them.
Hence I have a cabinet full of models on loan to the collection.

I thought it was 56 Sqn and in grey.
I seem to remember seeing it at Greenham Common in about 1983.
Probably have a photograph of it somewhere.

Already come across that one when it was a flyer. Not sure if it was the same airframe or not. It wore teeth when it was grey. Thanks for the link. A reminder I really need to go someday.
