RAF Pilot shot down in Korea

I’m not sure if this will be covered in this section of the forum, or indeed by this forum at all but I’m stuck with a question and was wondering if somebody might be able to help.

I’m trying to find out more about the loss of F-84G 51-10393 of the USAF which was shot down during the Korean War. The pilot is listed as G. C. Wilkinson and I think this may be RAF pilot (and later Air Crash Investigator) Geoffrey Crichton Wilkinson who was serving with the USAF in Korea.

So far I have found that one site states the aircraft was lost on the 15th February 1953 (http://www.accident-report.com/world/asia/korea1.html). However, another site states it was lost on the 13th January 1953 (http://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=86185). This also states it was serving with the 49th Fighter Grounp and was shot down by AA Fire.

I was wondering if any members could tell me any more about the crash or could suggest which date is correct.

If this forum can’t help could any members suggest another forum that might be able to help?
