Dear all,
Attached (hopefully) is a photo of 3 RAF pilots believed to have been taken in 1943 possibly at Dunnville Canada whilst they were undergoing training. The pilot in the centre is F/O James Holder a Canadian who was KIA on 04/09/44 whilst flying a Typhoon with 137 Sqn. The other 2 are (L)Bob Watby (R)Lorne Cully, I am trying to find out anything regarding Watby/Cully as I only have their names, I know that they were not KIA as their names are not on the CWGC lists, can anyone help?
Regards
Andy

RE: RAF Pilots
Most of my 137 Sqn research has been conected with the Whirlwind, I do however has the address of an armourer who served between Jan 44 and Jan 45 before being njured at Eindhoven. There’s a slight chance that he may be able to help you.
