I was given this today !
Round the bottom of the outside is “The Battle of Britain, July 10th – October 31st, 1940.
The rest of the outside lists some 34 airfields.
All surmounted with the famous Churchill quote “Never in the field of human conflict” Etc
Prominent on the side is the RAF Crest.
I just wonder if anyone can throw any light on it apart from the obvious ??
(ps it bought in a Bourne End antiques shop)
