So do I. I lived in Kalafrana in 1966-7 and used to swim off the rocks of the old seaplane base. The only ship seen at Kalafrana by then was the RFA Matchlock..pictured, an armaments vessel. The ASR crews carried out some heroic deeds during the Battle of Malta and preserving one of the RAF launches would be a fitting tribute.
