RAF Sentinel deploys to Mali

The RAF has deployed the Sentinel to Mali to support French forces.
The Sentinel and Shadow were due to withdrawn after the withdraw from Afghanistan with no replacement currently available.
With no MPA aircraft, Airseeker not available until 2014 and no Sentinel and Shadow replacement the British government continues to make commitments without the necessary support available
