This was one of my early videos made with a DJI Phantom Quadcopter. My Dad was based at Sillloth and I now live in Silloth and have a lot of fond memories of RAF Silloth.
I can remember Lancasters, Varsitys Vampires, Yorks, and Mosquitoes all parked around the airfield at 22 MU

Since the advent of Quadcopters and Gopro cameras, aerial photography has taken really off. This is an excellent example, and for once, suitable and moving music as well. Well done by who-ever.

A very moving piece of filmwork, made haunting by the music (Vaughan Williams, A Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis IIRC)

I was brought up in Silloth, and only knew the airfield as a race track. Didn’t know its history until I joined BBMF. Can’t believe how much is still there.

Fascinating but sad at the same time. Nicely done too!
