Ey up Everyone,
I’m trying to collect all the RAF Souvenier books for my local Air Museum, does anyone know how many were produced?
We’ve currently got 1966, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974.
Thanks

Update
We’ve now got a 1970 edition of the book.

I think I’ve got the full set from 1966 when they were called the “Royal Air Force Souvenir book”. Became the “Royal Air Force” in 73 and then they renamed it “Royal Air Force Yearbook” in 75. It’s been published every year since then under that title.
Which museum are you collecting them for? I have several duplicates and would be happy to add them to your collection.:)
Aeropark Volunteers Association, East Midlands Airport,
We’ve got (at the minute) 1966,67,69 1971,72,73,74,75. And three others, i’m sorry but i can’t remember which ones they are.
THank you very much for the offer and i would like to hear more about it.

I’ve bought it every year from 1967. It’s not a patch today on the publication it was then.

The ones we’ve got start out as the souvenier book and then change to the Yearbook in 1975.
We’ve got a souvenier book from RAF Finningley i believe.

I think I’m right in that originally RAF stations holding Battle of Britain/At Home days had individual books, then there was a common book with an insert for the station you were at?
