which is a great archive for the 152 (Hyderabad) squadron and great news it will be seen at the wings Museum in Balcombe
This post got me thinking?
Im not sure if a dedicated RAF squadron archive website already exists, (if there is one and please direct me to it!).
But I have thought it would be a fitting tribute and a great source for information if there were a site dedicated to the individual squadrons /groups in a similar format to the superb Pete Randall site for the 8th USAAF http://www.littlefriends.co.uk/
With the inevitable passing of the veteran, and, as we know from the recent sad loss of knowledgeable forumites, we loose a wealth of interest, enthusiasm and first hand knowledge.It would be good to have a site that recognised their achievements.
Any Thought??
