Could anyone please lend me a hand with a model? I need a good couple of reference pictures of an RAF trolley acc, so I can scratchbuild one in 1/24 scale, but much to my amazement I can’t find a single decent image!
WW2 vintage is what I’m after-it’s going to be plugged into a Hurricane.
Thanks!

LOL @ all the different marks etc etc!
Thanks all for the help-I’ve just found myself a pic of the Hendon BoB one (Like, D’oh, of course!) which together with what’s here, (The size and res is fine on here for what I want) should be more than enough to do what I want.
Any more pics gratefully received, but otherwise, thanks again guys!

Err…Thats another Mk.5. It’s the one in the Battle of Britain Hall I was thinking of. I wonder who let that be plugged into the spit V and in a National Museum as well.
Tisk Tisk.

Ooh…Sorry to be sad but that looks like a Mk.5 Trolley Acc which is a post war model and quite different to the wartime ones. Its all well and good me telling you this but can I supply a photo of a wartime example…not a chance. If anyone is passing Hendon in the next couple of days you could see if they could take a couple of pics of the one that used to be plugged into the Spit Ia in the BoB hall.

Hmm…need to get out more!

Hardley a decent image but it may help. As I understand it, the only difference between the one in the picture and a wartime one was the fitting that plugged into the aircraft.
Our USAF exchange office bought himself a vintage Rolls-Royce to ship home. He had no problem getting a set of spare tyres as they were the same as fitted to the trolley-acc.
