This is a strange request, but does anybody know where a Ford V-8 box-body touring car (circa 1940/41) might be available for film use?
RAF colours preferred.

Thanks all for the huge amount of help/information so willingly provided.
Always pleasing that there are so many people here who are always so keen and willing to help.
Thanks again. Those leads are invaluable, I’m sure!
PS – excluding Xtangomike’s helpful suggestion, that is!

Does the required car resemble this ? pic taken at Little Gransden this year.
that’s refered to as a woody !! it is more of an estate or shooting brake !!
a tourer would be a convertible saloon !!
that’s if they are refering to it correctly
it will probably be tricky to fill the requirements ( although probably not impossible )
starting points would be enquiries to
if they don’t have what you want maybe they will be clued up to where there is one or can pass you to others !!
millitary enactors may also be able to help !!

Could try contacting:

Thank you 91 Regal.
Err…I have no idea. But probably, yes!
All I know is the vehicle type required, and if this is one of they, then definitely yes.
The only problem is that it has to be in RAF/military colours.
