Raf York MW259

Hi
I am wondering if anybody can help me with any information about this plane.I known the fact that it crashed while on a Airtest at Raf Desford on 11th August 1948.
I known the plane was written off in the crash and no one ws killed.I am just wondering about the history of the plane and its crew on this day.
