Last night, the airshow committee voted to hold another RAFA Shoreham Airshow in 2012. The dates will be:-
1st-2nd September 2012
Due to a slightly dissappointing year financially, the show organisers are looking at a number of changes to the format and content of the airshow in 2012 to maintain the return for the Royal Air Forces Association. Please keep an eye on http://www.shorehamairshow.co.uk for the latest news.

In the 100th aniversary year of the formation of the RFC and the First flight of a RAF BE2 a/c this is available for displays.

We currently await to hear back from RAF Events, JHC and Royal Navy in terms of our allocations this year, but we do ask for all their displays each year. I addition invitations have gone out to the French Air Force (who have strong links to Shoreham Airport if you look around the Terminal Building) amongst others. We can only hope for the best, though we are aware of some major aviation events in Eastern Europe over that weekend.
