The RAFAEL Armament Development Authority will exhibit its advanced air defense system at the Paris Air Show. The company will also display a variety of capabilities and products in air detection, attack, defense, and weapons systems support.
RAFAEL will show for the first time its SPYDER Air Defense System, a mobile system developed in cooperation with Israel Aircraft Industries that incorporates the Derby active radar (RF) missile and Python 5 dual waveband Imaging Infra Red (IIR) missile.

RAFAEL will also reveal its advanced guidance system, which provides an ordinary bomb with advanced capabilities that turn it into a precision counter-weapon with the ability to identify and update information about its target.

You hit the point. About other explanations keep date of first built from that specific model in mind. I never heard or red about Tatra trucks captured from Syria in 1967.
By the way, which model operates India?!

Indian licence build various models of tatra trucks.

You hit the point. About other explanations keep date of first built from that specific model in mind. I never heard or red about Tatra trucks captured from Syria in 1967.

There were many Tatra trucks captured from syria in 67.
They left a good impression and the IDF bought some off-road Tatra
trucks recently. I know some are used for towed artillery.

Note that stiring wheel of the Tetra (picture in first thread) is on the right side πŸ˜‰

Anyway, India is evaluating the SPYDER against the Mica VLS currently.

Every picture of the prototype that I have seen shows it on a Tatra chassis, whether or not it is used by the IDF I dont know but the Tratra is used extensively all over the world, an is fairly similar to all other military truck chassis. I would have thought that the system can be applied to any vehicle in the right category, I doubt there is any relevance in the type of chassis used at this stage but I may be wrong.
