Some photos from Hendon yesterday – as well as the new bits shown, the Percival Prentice is also in the space left by the Wellington in the Bomber Command hall

The pre-WW1 Hendon watchtower, which can be seen from the site entrance and really looks fantastic



Fairey Battle back on display, its a bit dark where it’s positioned so can’t see the splendid work on it too well

The spotlights pointing up at the 230lb bomb on the FE2b seem to have gone

Nice to see the Battle back, even in the “low light”, I think she is a very important exhibit.
I’m looking forward to the A-20 Havoc being displayed (next year?).

I wonder how much of the control tower (above) is original? Looks good though!
