High ISO Noise Reduction
It was time to do some experimenting again with my Sony SLT-A35 in different artificial lighting conditions and Hendon is the best place for that. I’ve wandered around the museum before with my Sony A580 using the Hand Held Twilight mode but being a camera function there is no control over the settings. H.I.N.R. works on the same principle of taking six images and micro shuffling them to eliminate digital noise but gives you total control over the settings. It was a question of flicking between ISO and F numbers to get a decent shutter speed. I try to keep the speed in the low double digits of around 1/10sec but occasional dropped into single numbers. Just got to love the in camera ‘Steady Shot’.
