Today I had the chance to test out my new 5D III, was hoping the weather would be a little better but hey never mind. I had a quick trip round Hendon this afternoon as well paying my third visit to the Bomber Command memorial in Green Park. It really is stunning.

I remember seeing a piece on ‘206’ on BBC’s coast and was very surprised to see her out of the water. Stunning restoration none the less.

I’ll endorse those comments about the RAFM at night – stunning! And I really must keep my promise to myself to go back to the Museum next year – I haven’t been for ages and your pictures have whetted the appetite again! Thank you.:)

Eye For Detail
Anyone else noticed the ‘cocking toggle’ tucked in the boot of the air gunner depicted in the memorial, a nice touch from the sculptor Philip Jackson!

Great pics from the RAFM, but the pictures of the Bomber Command memorial was really stunning and very moving. The bus in the backround seemed to add poignancy to the shots.
Thanks for sharing

Entirely my own thoughts Bill and superb photography, what lense did you use?
