Natural selection at work. They keep doing things like that and they won’t be around much longer…
I hate to think what a driver would feel, knowing (or even believing) that he had killed someone. I know one driver (now retired) who, while travelling at speed on the ECML, had the misfortune to encounter a suicide.
I hope never to hear such a story as that driver told ever again.
I have every sympathy for those drivers who have been affected by such actions.
I have no sympathy for those who lose their lives through such stupidity.
People who do not know how to behave when confronted by a red light should not be on the roads…

Some people can be so stupid at times. If they can’t be bothered to wait 2 minutes for the train to pass, then that is quite pathetic, in my opinion.
Also we should consider those who drive these trains. The driver of the train shown on the last clip surely would have believed that he had killed the lad. I remember seeing a programme all about such ‘one-under’ cases on the Tube network and how some drivers have never returned to work after such incidents. Totally not fair on them.

What idiots!!!
My local level crossing isn’t so bad though, the trains actually have to stop for the driver to activate the lights and barriers before proceding.
