How come the DHL always has a red painted window?

Great pic of the spray.

Smashing shots Kevin, I seen them buzzing around for most of the day. Unfortunately I was stuck in work looking at them through the window, the joys! 😀

The new Nimrod looks great, as does the DHL 757, looking at the reg and engines, I see it’s one of BA’s former fleet and in fact from their initial purchase as joint launch customer back in 1983…

Great spray effect on the DHL, love it.

As well as the airframe, wings, engines in internal intruments and an increased range and payload, the main update with the MRA4 has been in the cockpit which has been replaced with a fully automated glass cockpit and avoinics system/suite

Hay Stu, yes it was a tad wet, but it did dry up a bit honest

Scotty , I manged to get the CC citaion when it landed, That 40D is great for the low light shots , was told that it was due out at 8am , so decide to enjoy my scratcher instead

Matt, This is the long awaited replacement for the MK2 Nimrods, The MRA4, and yes its been update in all aspects from airframe through to the radar
Im sure there are other fellows would be able to what the chnages are

Hi there me tartan buddy
Thought you had forgotten how to post on here. Maybe you shouldn’t have bothered!!! Nah, seriously though not bad now that you are getting used to new equipment. That DHL at Prestwick reminds me of something. Ah yeah, UEFA Cup day at the same place. We looked like a pair of molluscs then as well. Maybe Loch Lomond planes could be using Prestwick instead of the Clyde!!!
See you soon mate
Cheers
Stu
