You have got to be jesting about the weather – certainly for the morning which was a write off. 😡
It did get sunny for the afternoon though. So it wasn’t a complete wash out.

Okay I hear you, but to get great pics with glorious backgrounds gave me the impression it was good to fair at Fairford. Small mercies.

The weather anywhere in the globe is the most unpredictable factor affecting every human even with the most advanced forecasting tools available.

The weather for Sat was absolute poo. Was there from the Weds right through to today. Sat and Sun were the worst weather wise, but I think Rall was looking towards the South side I’m guessing, possibly in the car park right next to the North West side of the base? I think Rall got about the only parts of blue sky visible :p although it did clear nicely at the end.

Rall fantastic shots, despite the conditions, you’ve done well. Now I’m off to sort through the 52GB worth of photo’s I took myself 😮

Hope the BBMF crews see the shots as they are a tribute to the boys in blue.

Great work and the weather was obviously kind in Fairford which helped

BTW, those are some cracking shots!

Thank you for all the kind comments. Here are a few more of the Vulcan and Lanc both of which are my favourite aircraft.
