Rare Bear 2007 Pilots Announced

More good news for Rare Bear fans!

Rare Bear owner, Rod Lewis and associate coordinator Alby Redick have announced that 2004-2005 National Champion John Penney will return to Team Rare Bear as the man with his hand on the throttle for 2007.

Joining John up as backup pilot will be veteran Air Racer Stewart Dawson. Penney has raced for several years in the cockpit of the Rare Bear and Dawson is also active in Air Racing, finishing in fifth place with his Hawker Sea Fury, “Spirit of Texas” in 2006.

Further crew placements are expected to be announced later this week.
