Rays-Tek and eBay

I don’t know whether it’s connected with the eBAy problem that the BBC reported earlier, but Rays-Teks’ shop has disappeared from the site. Likewise, a lot of aircraft parts listed in his style are showing but unavailable.

Anybody know him or have any idea if it’s a permanent problem? He had a couple of actuators listed that I’d like to buy.

My ebay was completely deleted and when I tried to sort out a new password I was told my account had never existed ! today I had to renew a password and its back, some have lost all listings and purchases along with feedback back to zero for others.

Just tried that thread above again and it went ‘not listed’ but the contact address was : ebay@rays-tek.com perhaps that’s worth a punt?

GYD

just been on www192.com they list the address as:

Unit 2
Cross street
Biddulph
Stoke on Trent
Staffs
ST6 4PU
Tel: 01782 511 567

This is the website link to one of his ebay shop pages:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Rays-Tek-Surplus-Ltd/_i.html?_nkw=control+column&_trksid=p2045573.c0.m57

Which still comes up and shows a separate contact web address but, if you link onto any of the items or info on the seller however, they don’t exist as identified above. Very strange!

GYD

Yes, I thought that there was a separate website, but I can’t find it now,

I didn’t know that eBAy accounts had disappeared, but that would explain it. Hope he doesn’t suffer as a result.

Rays Tek did have a web site, I am sure they have a contact number somewhere they do sell outside of Ebay

An Ebay spokesperson on quoted to the BBC that it was due to server maintenance,

This news article says they were hacked and loads of accounts have been deleted
