RB211 video – engine on test

This was one of those lucky occasions where you get to do something a little extra-ordinary… and I had my camera with me!! 😎

It’s not every day you get to stand right in front of a running RB211, with the wind blowing through your hair, and trouser legs flapping in the breeze!!

This is an Industrial RB211, hence no fan on the front, it’s just the “core” of the engine, still pretty big though! The video doesn’t give you the oily smells, and feeling of heat when up close… But it’s still pretty cool!
