RCAF aircraft skis data plate

Hi,

This is a longshot, I’m sure, but can anyone tell me anything about this Royal Canadian Air Force data plate, apparently from a set of aircraft winter skis? I’m not familiar with the type number 33, or maker’s number 89-88:

I’d really love to know what aircraft type the skis were intended for.
