I would just like to offer my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Shuttleworth Collection for making such a magnificent gesture in memory of Steve. I know quite a few of us will be there on the day and this tribute will enable us all to take a small part, whether we can be present or not.
This will be my fourth visit to Shuttleworth this year, after an absence of 31 years. It is heartening to see how the world of Historic Aviation draws together to remember and honour their own. This is a true community of which I feel immensely proud to be a small part. And for all those people that enjoy the Chipmunk display I’m sure none of us will enjoy it more than Steve.
Thank you again.
Regards,

A moving tribute, and one that I am sure will gain a smile from above.

Unfortunately I won’t be at the display, but I would like to echo Kevs remarks and thank the Shuttleworth collection for their thoughtfulness.
