Is there any proof to show that the russian space program or space stations in general were ever realy suffering because of Lack of Finances? Or is this just something America took for granted back when They were suffering from lack of finances?

I’ve been round the Star City complex and I have to say that the lack of finances was something that was raised more than once.

I guarentee payment is not a problem for a country like Norway 😀

The norwegians won,t admit it, But they think like the americans on this point. They are also good at buying things and leaving them lying around. They got F15,s But not enough pilots to fly them? I am still trying to figure out the point behind buying more than we need
curses, who will fly our loads of F-15s? where’s Viper when you need him 😉

Opinion probably wasn’t helped by different culture. Americans are very much use to a throw away mentality. If something breaks throw it out and get a new item. Russians on the other hand were more likely to repair items and as a result the Mir was a bit of a Hermits house… lots of junk with broken parts but also servicable components too.
